In 2017, Room23 opened its doors on Port Street, with a modest setup and our first employee, our first assistant.
By 2018, our first assistant had completed our training scheme & qualified as a stylist, marking the beginning of our growth.
In 2020, we welcomed our second stylist as an assistant just before the world went into lockdown.
In January 2021, we seized the opportunity to expand and renovate during the lockdown. It was also the year when Kirsty, a skilled stylist, joined us & our second apprentice at Room23, qualified with her Level 2 and 3 taking us to four stylists.
In 2022, the team continued to grow with the addition of Hollie & Courtney as stylists, and Brooke as our beauty & skincare therapist.
Fast forward to 2023, our team expanded further with the addition of three more assistants Molly, Ellis, and Amber.
We also welcomed 3 more senior stylists to our team this year, Justine, Rebecca & Robyn taking our team to a team of 13 strong.
This year we look forward to launching our bespoke training programme & online shop, continuing the trend of our growth.
From a one-person operation in 2017, Room23 has evolved into a dynamic team of 13 professionals. Along the way, we’ve invested in training, team-building activities, and have shared countless memorable moments.
